Diana Allen, MS, CNS has been a holistic clinical nutritionist in private practice since 2002. She holds a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and is nationally board certified as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), making her eligible for licensing as a dietitian in the State of Massachusetts.

In addition to the above credentials, Diana studied with T. Colin Campbell to earn a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell University in 2014 and has been an EDIT Certified Eating Disorder Coach since 2019. She is a respected expert on IBS and SIBO and started one of the first blogs ever about SIBO in 2013. She has penned three booklets (Chia Seed, Natural & Healthy Sweeteners, Kombucha) for Woodland Publishing and is currently the Product Development Manager at Moss Nutrition—a superior quality nutritional supplements line sold exclusively to healthcare practitioners and their patients (Eat to Evolve clients are included!)

As a Nutrition Therapist, Diana's primary focus is  helping individuals who struggle with issues of emotional or disordered eating to make lasting peace with their food and their bodies. Diana promotes weight acceptance and body positivity, supports the Health at Every Size (HAES) model and incorporates Intuitive Eating principles into her Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT) practice.

Emerging research on the psychology of eating behavior and the damaging influence of Diet Culture sheds light on why so many of us fail at achieving and maintaining what we believe to be our ideal diet and body shape. In short: Diets don't work. Whether the goal is weight loss or health gain, any restrictive diet that traps us in a state of self-denial is destined to fail.

Quality nourishment that meets nutritional needs and health-positive lifestyle habits are keys to feeling our best. But only a deep paradigm shift, forged in the vessel of loving, embodied self-understanding and self-acceptance, can truly transform our relationship with food and our bodies. Eat to Evolve Nutrition Therapy is dedicated to helping you find this peace and freedom, the highest level of vibrant health possible for your own unique body, mind and spirit.
